UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) invites applications for UPPSC Assistant Engineers every year. To apply for the exams interested candidates must clear the required eligibility criteria. UPPSC AE Age Limit 2023

Employees of U.P. including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and Teachers/Staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e. they should be born after July 02, 1976.
- The upper age limit for physically challenged people of UP shall be increased by fifteen years.
- For Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnels of Uttar Pradesh, the upper age limit shall be raised by 3 years plus the duration of service rendered in the army.

UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
Only Indian Citizens can apply for UPPSC Assistant Engineer. Other than all eligibility criteria these are the basic criteria for recruitment for the UPPSC AE Examination.
UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria: Marital Status
For Male: Candidates who are married and have more than one wife living, shall not be eligible unless the Hon’ble Governor has granted exemption from this condition.
For Female: Candidates who have married a person already having a wife, shall not be eligible unless the Hon’ble Governor has granted exemption from this condition.
UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts
The UPPSC AE Examination has no attempt limit. Applicants from all categories are eligible to retake the test until they reach their respective age limit, which is 40 years for general category applicants.
UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2023: Points to Remember
- At the UPPSC AE Interview, all original certificates must be validated. Candidates will also be expected to bring four passport-size photographs to the interview, two unattested and two attested by their Head of Department or Head of the Institution where they obtained their education, or by a Gazetted Officer.
- Candidates must attach self-attested copies of any certifications supporting their claims in the examination application form. Their nomination will be annulled if they do not include self-attested copies of all certifications supporting their claims.
- Candidates working for the Central or State Government would be required to present a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of the interview, which will be granted by the relevant authorities.
